Senior Music

A portrait of Joe Pete in landscape orientation
Joe Pete is ready to play and sing for you.

Guitarist and singer Peter “JOE PETE” Wetherbee has played music solo and in bands for many years. Since 2022 he also been playing for seniors, including independent, assisted living, and memory audiences at residences, nursing and senior centers.

Joe Pete plays familiar songs from the ’40s–’70s in popular, folk, country, and early rock ’n’ roll styles with the intention of sparking memories and joy. Most of the material is well-known and lends itself to singing along, which is encouraged. New repertoire is regularly added, often based on requests received.

Joe Pete plays regularly at Neville Place in Cambridge, several Benchmark properties, Carleton-Willard in Bedford, Goddard House in Brookline, Maristhill in Waltham, Traditions of Dedham, VNA in Somerville, New Horizons in Marlborough, the Veronica Smith Brighton Senior Center, and others.

But with all that, there are still holes in the calendar to be filled. Rates are reasonable so please reach out to Joe Pete about performing for your audience too.
